Digital Credits
Hero Forge Pro + Digital Download subscribers receive five digital credits per month. These credits can be used on our .stl files or 3D Digital minis compatible with a variety of virtual tabletops. Each digital product costs one credit. Credits roll over up to a maximum of 120 credits banked. Your Access Key will allow your 3D Digital minis to automatically sync with your connected virtual tabletops.
Monthly Featured Pre-made Digital Packs
Every month, subscribers will be able to download a pre-designed featured pack of five or more minis as both .stl 3D printing files and 3D Digital minis! Each type comes loaded with and without a base. Your Access Key will allow your 3D Digital minis to automatically sync with your connected virtual tabletops. View this month’s featured pack here.

You can find the status of your subscription on your Subscription account page.
On the first of each month, you'll have access to a featured pre-made digital pack of minis! These packs are all uniquely themed and artfully designed. If you've connected your Hero Forge account to a compatible virtual tabletop with the Access Key, the pack will automatically sync with that virtual tabletop. The Digital Downloads menu will contain all of the .stl files for the pack, so you can start 3D printing at home right away!
We do not currently have a way to directly switch subscription periods. Instead, you can cancel your current subscription so that it does not renew. Then when it runs out, resubscribe to your preferred subscription period. Any subscription rewards such as folders or saved paints will return once you resubscribe.
If your subscription ends, you will keep the credits you have, but you will be unable to spend them until you resubscribe.
All sales are final on subscriptions, and all subscription charges are non-refundable.
We cannot put a subscription on hold at this time.
If you pay for Hero Forge® Pro:
You can upgrade to a Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription from your Subscription account page.
Your first charge will be discounted by an amount equal to a per-day discount multiplied by how many days have passed in your current subscription cycle. The per-day discount is calculated by dividing an add-on cost by the total number of days in your current subscription cycle. The add-on costs are as follows:
- 1-month plans: $16
- 3-month plans: $36
- 12-month plans: $132
As an example, let’s say you subscribed to a 3-month Hero Forge® Pro plan on March 1, and your next billing date is June 1. You want to upgrade to Hero Forge® Pro + Download on April 3. The number of days in your current subscription cycle is the number of days between March 1 and June 1 -- 92 days. So your per-day discount is $36 divided by 92, or $0.39. The number of days passed in your current subscription cycle is the number of days between March 1 and April 3, or 33 days. So your total discount on your first charge is $0.39 multiplied by 33, or $12.86. The 3-month Hero Forge® Pro + Download plan is $16.99 per month billed every 3 months, or $50.97 per charge. Therefore, when you upgrade, your first immediate charge will be $38.10 ($50.97 - $12.87). Your next billing date stays June 1, when you would be charged the full $50.97.
When your Hero Forge® Pro + Download plan automatically renews, you will be charged the full cost of the Hero Forge® Pro + Download plan you selected.
Note that you will not be able to upgrade to a Hero Forge® Pro + Download plan if your discount is equal to or exceeds the cost of the first charge for that plan.
To upgrade your subscription, select Manage Plan from your Subscription account page, then select the Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription and confirm.
Kickstarter backers who have a 1-year Hero Forge® Pro subscription through a code:
You can sign up for a Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription from your Subscription account page.
Your first charge will be discounted by an amount depending on how much time is left on your free 1-year Hero Forge® Pro subscription. This discount is a rate of approximately $0.13 per day.
As an example, let’s say you have 72 days left on your Hero Forge® Pro subscription. You want to sign up for a monthly subscription of Hero Forge® Pro + Download, which would be a charge of $19.99 per month. That first $19.99 charge would be discounted by 72 * $0.13, or $9.36, so you would pay only $10.63. From the next month onward you will be charged $19.99.
If the total discount you are entitled to is equal to or exceeds the cost of your first Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription charge, you will not be able to upgrade your subscription at that time.
To upgrade your subscription, select Manage Plan from your Subscription account page, then select the Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription and confirm.
Kickstarter backers who have a lifetime Hero Forge® Pro subscription through a code:
You can sign up for a Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription at a discounted rate from your Subscription account page. If you cancel your Pro + Download subscription, you will still be subscribed to Pro when your Pro + Download subscription ends.
To upgrade your subscription, select Manage Plan from your Subscription account page, then select the Hero Forge® Pro + Download subscription and confirm.
A subscription cannot be changed from Hero Forge® Pro + Download to Hero Forge® Pro. Instead, we suggest you cancel your current subscription so that it does not renew, and then when it runs out, subscribe to Hero Forge® Pro.
Yes. You will receive all credits for the subscription length term when you first subscribe and when your subscription renews, at a rate of 5 credits per month. For example, if you have a 3-month subscription, you will receive 15 credits when you first subscribe, and 15 credits each time your subscription renews.
Credits currently have no expiration date, but can only be used with an active subscription.
A featured pre-made digital pack will be made available on the first of each month. If you are subscribed to Hero Forge® Pro + Download that month, you’ll be able to log in and download the featured pack from your Digital Downloads page here: heroforge.com/account/downloads.
You’ll still be able to claim and download any featured pre-made digital pack we released during your subscription from your Digital Downloads page, so long as you are actively subscribed to Hero Forge® Pro + Download.
You can see a list of available pre-made digital packs in the Buy > Packs menu. If a pack was featured during a month when you were subscribed to Hero Forge® Pro + Download, and you are currently subscribed, you’ll have the option to download that featured pre-made digital pack from your Digital Downloads page. Otherwise, you’ll have an option to spend either credits (from your Hero Forge® Pro + Download Subscription) or money to purchase the pre-made digital pack.

To subscribe, log into your Hero Forge® account and navigate to your Subscription account page here: heroforge.com/account/subscription
Choose your preferred plan and payment method, then click the “Subscribe” button to become a Hero Forge® Pro subscriber!
After your subscription is confirmed, you may be prompted to reload Hero Forge® in your browser to access the subscriber-only features.
When you subscribe, you will be charged immediately for the first subscription period. For example, if you selected a three-month subscription, you will be charged immediately for the first three months.
Subsequent charges will be made at the beginning of each successive billing cycle. For example, if you selected a three-month subscription, you will be charged in three months for the following three months, again in six months, etc.
Once any subscription charge is made, it is nonrefundable.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time at least one day before the next charge.
When a subscription is cancelled, you will still have access to subscription rewards until the next billing cycle. For example, if you cancel two months into a three-month subscription period, you will have access to subscription rewards until the three-month period has ended, but you will not be charged again when that three-month period is over.

- Active: You are currently subscribed.
- Cancelled: Your subscription has been successfully cancelled.
- Past Due: We were unable to successfully charge your card on file. If your subscription is Past Due, you will not have access to subscription features. Please check your card on file to make sure it is up to date, or check with your card issuer why the charge was rejected. You will need to use a valid payment method to re-subscribe in order to be properly charged and get access to subscription features again.
- Expired: If you redeemed a Kickstarter code to get access to HF Pro, and the subscription time associated with that code has passed, your subscription will be listed as Expired.
